Yes! Barring any technology issues, you will be able to access the recording for all live sessions. 

Live cooking session recordings are posted with the recipe or recipes we created that day. 

While we know that ingredients vary by country and location, we will make every effort to make the recipes accessible by providing substitution suggestions. 

The live sessions which will be a combination of cooking together and Q and A chats will primarily occur on weekdays while the live cooking classes will be scheduled primarily on the weekends. 

I will try to vary the days and times to accommodate members, including those who live outside of the U.S.

Live sessions will be held most weeks. Those might include chats such as a Q and A with questions that you’ve submitted in advance. A lot of the live sessions will be live cooking sessions. Most of those will be simple recipes that you can make any time and will last 45-60 minutes. 

Live cooking classes will be held primarily on the weekends.

Most of the recipes that I’ll be sharing will be newly created recipes that my family has enjoyed. There may be times when I share a popular recipe that I’ve updated or that I’ve discovered tips and tricks to improve. Recipes that have been challenging may be shared in a live session to demonstrate the process to help others to be successful. 

Older recipes might also be included in suggested meal plans or for meal prep, batch cooking, or freezer prep. 

Some recipes will contain dairy or nuts. When possible, I will try to offer substitutions for people who avoid those ingredients. 

While there will be some special desserts or recipes that use sweeteners, the focus of the community is primarily everyday foods. The exception will be holidays or special occasions when members may want to enjoy healthy dessert options. 

There is a section in the cooking community for shopping lists that are standard for low-carb and keto diets. Also, new products will be highlighted as I share them along with ideas and recipes for how I’ve used those items.

For recipes, ingredient, equipment, and supply lists will be shared in advance of the live session. 

The group is not going away. I am still be there posting, commenting, encouraging, answering questions, and sharing with everyone. 

If you’re getting a bit bored with your cooking routine, looking for new ideas, need information for tweaking recipes, or just enjoy sharing ideas, with others, then we think you will enjoy the cooking community. 

We hope so! The cooking community focuses on food--finding great recipes that fit your tastes, your lifestyle, and your budget. We like to think it will be helpful regardless of where you are on your journey. 

Live sessions will be held via Zoom. You can choose to join by audio or by video or both. You can also use the chat function to ask questions if you like. 

Yes! Your membership lasts for 90 days. You will remain a member until that time. If you use a credit card, you should receive an email one week before you are to be charged for a second quarter. You have the option to cancel at any time, but we do not grant refunds.  

The Hub is the community space that allows you direct connection to Kristie and to other members. Use The Hub to stay aware of activities within the community, to ask questions, and to interact with other members. 

While Kristie isn’t available 24 hours a day, she will check into The Hub at least once per day to answer questions. 

We understand that most of us are inundated with emails, texts, and other notifications daily. It’s easy to get information overload. 

We also want you to be able to select how you want to receive information from us, so we are adding multiple ways for you to stay aware of community resources.

1. Make it a point to login to the community at least once per week. On the login page, there will be an Announcements tab. New information will be added there.
2. Go to The Hub link. Announcements, links to the Current Month, which includes live sessions, and member posts will be available there. Think of it like a lounge or meeting room. 
3. Check your email. Unfortunately, when you don’t open emails, they tend to go to spam or promotions folders. You may have to search the words homemade health in your email search bar. The more you open emails from me, the more emails you will see in your inbox.
4. Use the Current Month feature. By clicking on Current Month anywhere in the membership, you can see the content for the month. Live sessions, recipes, resources, and even a monthly challenge area all featured in the Current Month. 
5. If  you're joining the Cooking Community new, you can look in the Archives of the Resource page to see content that has been shared in previous months.
